First Missionary Baptist Church of Biloxi offers Christian Education to increase your spiritual growth which is the process of becoming more mature in one’s relationship with Jesus Christ. Someone who is growing spiritually will become more and more like Christ. FMBC offers numerous programs for all ages.

Youth Department

First Missionary Baptist Church of Biloxi helps kids, young teens and young adults develop a deeper relationship with Christ and love for the Church while growing in friendship with other young believers. We offer programs for the following groups:

Vision

We love to teach people God’s word and ministering to people in the name of Jesus. We want to promote a transformation in your life, through the word of Jesus Christ. Our classes meet on Sundays at 0930 – 1030. Around 1015 all classes meet in the sanctuary for an overview of the lesson. We recognize Birthdays, Anniversaries and other special events. At First Missionary Baptist Church of Biloxi, we offer numerous Sunday School classes. We have classes for adult men and women, young women, youth and children. We want every member to be involved in Sunday School class. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the Bible, ask and discuss more intensely. The environment is relaxed and comfortable and a perfect setting for learning.

New Member Orientation Classes

First Missionary Baptist Church of Biloxi New Member Orientation class is a six – week class made available to all our new members. Materials are provided to our new member to assist them in class. Our new members are taught by church leaders the Biblical principles and beliefs of our church according to God’s Word. The new member will learn about the various ministries and will be encouraged to become a growing participant in the ministry of the church. Vacation Bible School

First Missionary Baptist Church of Biloxi offers yearly vacation bible school (VBS) which is a specialized form of religious education which focuses on all age groups from children to adults. This is usually a week-long event during the summer. Food is also offered during this event and the length of programs may vary depending upon the class.

What Bible do I Bring?

Our church exclusively uses the King James Version of the Bible. This is intentional. One of the main benefits of this is that everyone can still bring a Bible to church and be on the same page as everyone else! iPhone and Android Bible apps all include the King James Version, so you can easily follow along (for free).
